Using Your Computer to Advance Your Education

 Technology really has provided for some great advancement in our day to day lives. It seems like there never existed a time where you couldn't pick up your cell phone to not only get in touch with loved ones and business associates, but also to check the weather in your hometown and across the globe among other amazing features. Of course computers are frequently the butt of jokes that associate them with base tasks. When most people speak of the Internet I think that there's a tendency for people to believe that it's still serves a massive function as essentially nothing more than a pornographic shop, or warehouse for disturbing images that were always considered to be taboo. While this still is the case to some extent it's also true that computers are being utilized more than ever for business and personal growth functioned, and one great example of this is the use of computers to complete college degrees.




Even though we can safely say that the Internet is still in its infancy that is already being used to make the education process and easier one. 10 years ago if you needed to finish your degree and you worked the typical 40 hour job, your only choice to finish our education would be to take night classes periodically. Of course this didn't fit into everyone's schedule and certain people needed to find an alternative method to complete their degree. This is where computers and the Internet came in and really shook things up. And only a few short years you can literally complete your college degree without ever having to step foot, more or less, into an actual live classroom. The great thing is that this wasn't only being offered by low level colleges and universities, but rather it seems that even the biggest names in education have seen the value of technology and online degrees.


There are many programs that colleges and universities use to allow other students the ability to complete their degrees. The interface and interaction are different, of course, on many of these software programs, but the point remains that they be user friendly and allow people the chance to study and submit work online. Online degrees are still a new concept that advances in technology used in online classrooms is growing daily, and I suspect that the online classroom will more relaxed take the place of the actual classroom in short order.

 The first debut of the modern computer today was during the World War II the ENIAC or the Electronic Numerical Integrator and calculator. It was made in order to hasten the computation of raw data and use it for military purposes. It was proposed to be used in the ballistic operations as well.
